The first Spanish Vocaloids, Clara and Bruno, were released in 2011. Also, Vocaloid 3 has Triphone support unlike Vocaloid 2 which improves language capabilities. Yamaha will also be granting the licensing of plug-ins and use of the Vocaloid software for additional mediums such as video games. The vocal libraries themselves only contain a "tiny" version of the Vocaloid 3 editing software. Unlike previous versions, the vocal libraries and main editing software are sold as two separate items. It is also able to use plug-ins for the software itself and switch between normal and "classic" mode for less realistic vocal results.
It supports additional languages including Chinese, Korean, and Spanish. With the launch of Vocaloid 3, a tool that was developed titled VocaListener, a software package that allows for realistic Vocaloid songs to be produced using human singing as a template, currently only supports Japanese vocals.
Several studios are providing updates to allow Vocaloid 2 vocal libraries to come over to Vocaloid 3. So I’ll just link some V2 banks and stop word vomiting now.Vocaloid 3 launched on October 21, 2011, along with several products in Japanese product, the first of its kind. If the sound of a V2 bank is want you want, it’s really hard to get a boxed copy. V3’s tend to be cheap and work with all the current editors, and can be used if they come w the tiny editor. TLDR personally I’d recommend trying the SynthV basic free version to see if you like working with this type of program before shelling out money. (I’m pretty sure that most V3 banks come with a tiny editor to use, but that might just have been Avanna.) V2 voices can’t really run in the new V5 editor either. PS- Vocaloid 2 isn’t technically supported with newer Windows OS ( I think like 8 and up or something), and can’t run any newer V3+ voices. All V2 vocaloids were packaged together with the editor, so unlike V3,4,&5, you don’t need to buy a separate editor to use your voice bank.
